Our Mission

“Each brain in the world is unique. Every person learns differently”

The Foundation’s aims to Increase awareness of neurodiversity[1] in people, and deliver practical solutions that promote the integration of these marginalized individuals into society to increase their social and professional opportunities and offer them a fair chance of social participation.

These “neurodiverse” individuals are typically treated by society as handicapped, even though they have brilliant minds, and more often than not are pushed aside because of their perceived “awkwardness”. However, these people see the world in amazing ways which allows them to innovate in ways that

[1] Neurodiversity refers to the fact that each brain, and each person, in the world is unique.  According to Dr. Thomas Armstrong (2010), we all exist on a several continuums, or spectrums, of abilities and disabilities, such as sociability, happiness, intelligence, and rationality.  In these spectrums are people diagnosed with Attention Deficiency Disorder (ADD), Attention Deficiency with Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Asperger’s Syndrome, Dyslexia, and other Autism spectrum disorders.   It is estimated that at least 10% of the population, an enormous number by all accounts, exhibits the symptoms associated with the diagnosis of these “disorders”.

“neurotypicals” cannot or even thought possible.  There is a great opportunity to better integrate these individuals and their unique skills into the social fabric, which it would yield enormous benefits for them and for the rest of society.

Because we have not invested the time to understand them, to empower them, and channel them into the social fabric, brilliant talents go to waste. There are over 25 million young adults in the USA and an untold number of millions in the world.  Recent studies point to the fact that 3 in 10 of the newborns have some type of neurological difference that would result to a mental disorder.  Imagine the opportunities missed, the talent lost for all society. Imagine what might be accomplished by harnessing these beautiful brains.

The Foundation – through an individually tailored program, E-gnite™ – promotes an innovative approach to enhance self –esteem and self-improvement for these individuals with the goal to give them better chance of living productive and fulfilling lives.  Leveraging the social-media paradigm,  we engage them to enroll for free, set goals for various aspects for their lives (i.e., social, professional, personal, etc,), receive incremental rewards as goals are achieved and skills improve, and ultimately be empowered to be more socially adept.
